ParticipantHi,
I know this question’s been posed many times but I’ve followed all of the information I can find on this board without success. Unfortunately I don’t have the instruction manual and can’t identify the model as it’s a semi integrated unit and I don’t know how to remove it in order to find the relevant tags but it’s about 10 years old and has worked flawlessly until last week.
I can’t seem to find the impeller as my washer is different to the photos and details on this forum (and on on Neffs website) and so it may be that I’m missing something. I can confirm I’ve removed all of the filters from the bottom of the washer, cleaned them and sucked up all of the water with a powerful vacuum. I’ve ensured the waste pipes under the sink cupboards are positioned correctly and they appear to be clear.
Does anyone have any ideas? being 10 years old or more it may be that it’s had it’s day but thought I’d check if it was something simple. Also there’s a small white box connected to the outlet/inlet hoses which I’m unsure about, is this a pump? I’ve uploaded some photos for anyone interested to help identify the type of washer etc. and these can be found at: http://cid-bee26207fedbe902.skydrive.li … Dishwasher
Many thanks in advance
Will

That’s the weirdest Neff dishwasher I’ve ever seen? Was it purchased in the UK? Can’t you honestly find any ENr numbers on either the door or near the door catch? 😕

The information on the Neff website about the impellor refers to dishwashers under ten years old. (approx.)
Your drain pump cannot be accessed from the inside/sump, you have to remove the front panel to gain access to the drain pump.As this involves exposing live wires, I cannot offer any further d.i.y. advice. 🙁
But others here may.

Can’t remember number, but it’s that oddball one with the heat exchanger unit in it.

If you were to follow the three strakes in the bottom of the sump through to the outside, you’d find the drain pump and drain hose; that’s the place to start. Is the plumbing new? Looks very clean and shiney in the piccie.
Power off, of course.

Sorry for the slow response, I was expecting an email alert to tell me someone had posted a reply but for some reason it didn’t. Anyway, thanks to all for their replies and advice. Particular thanks too Penguin45 and BS-MAN. By copy Penguin-45, would you mind elaborating on

Can you confirm what you mean by strakes,? do I need to remove the wsaher from it’s position, if so , do you have any idea how to do this?
Thanks again

Look at the piccie – the are three bars in the hole right at the bottom. These are the “last resort” filter into the drain pump – which will be on the other side of the hole; ie front right. In theory you can get at it from the front by removing the lower cover plate, but access is awkward. If it comes to dragging it out, you’re on your own. There may be two screws locking to the work surface above, but the things that kitchen fitters get up to is always a mystery and a surprise.
