I have a Beko WMA1510s washing machine. Power light on/off switch works. But will not start any program. Could it be the door interlock?

It could be. Try starting a programme and listen for the click as the door locks – give a gentle tug on the door after a few minutes to see if you can open the door. If it has locked then your problem is likey to lie elsewhere and I’d suggest getting someone out to look at it then since it comes down to inspecting it at that point to find out what’s wrong.

The door interlock does not even lock! Took it out and can hear something rattling inside the interlock!! I think i may have found the fault. Checked for continuity on electrical pins only got a reading between pin1 and pin2. No reading between pin 1 and pin3 or pin2 and pin3. Ordered new interlock will reply if it works or not!!

Whilst the rattle may be significant your electrical test is not. You should only get continuity through two terminals, only through all connections when the switch is energised by mains voltage, this heats up the mechanism closing the switch ( the click you hear) and putting current across to the third terminal.

The door lock is by far the cheapest option to try first though.
