    Hotpoint CTD00P Condensor tumble dryer.
    Not had this one before, Its sat in our workshop. Had a quick look at it and can’t see anything obvious. water container is empty and element looks ok. There is little heat almost like half heat but cant get water full light off.
    Any ideas please?

    Stuck or faulty float microswitch. ????

    Had a bit of a play. I cleaned out the float chamber on it and the float. The water container light is lit but only dim. Heat doesnt feel as good as it should either, possibly running on low heat…?

    usually some kind of earth fault when the light is showing dimly all the time
