Washer initially stopped mid-program with error code 8E. After a few retries this settled on an error code 3E (according to the manual “call after sales service”).
The appliance is subject to maintenance insurance with British Gas. The engineer arrived 24hrs later to determine the problem. They identified the parts required and ordered them.
One month later the parts are not forthcoming. Apparently, they have procured a motor and PCB but are outstanding a Fascia PCB (part # 111327).
They offered me some cash as compensation for not repairing the appliance. I asked then to pursue the missing part instead. They asked me to call them if I find the part.
Looking at the Samsung parts website (4mysamsung.co.uk) I can only find a PCB, not a “Fascia PCB”. I think the PCB is a Fascia PCB (it looks like a Fascia having a digital display and LEDs). It is at http://www.4mysamsung.co.uk/cgi-bin/pro … odel=q1433
My questions:
1) Is the PCB I found likely to be the PCB my engineer is looking for?
2) Is there some way I can find a catalogue of parts such that I can check the part number British Gas is looking for (111327) is a) a real samsung washer part and b) is what they say it is (Fascia PCB)?
Thanks for any help.
