A poster in the public forums mentions paying Hotpoint £15.90 per month to cover an Indesit made Hotpoint dishwasher.
Please tell me this isn’t true and they are mistaken. Surely no one would charge someone over £190.00 per annum to cover repairs on one of these high quality :rolls: products.
yeah kind of mistaken, if you call for an appliance out of garantee you have a choice, £89-109 for the repair only (payment up front over the phone), OR £15 a month for TEN months for the repair PLUS 12 months total D&G insurance
What a rip off ! All that money and you’ve still got a rubbish appliance.This is just another ruse cooked up by sharp suited accountants.Charging up front means they have no incentive to turn out (see my earlier post – 6 weeks waiting).Customer I’ve just been to quoted next Thursday – 1 week.Machine had blown up -a BWD 129 (a quick look underneath revealed an exploding module) bloke at the other end of the phone said the machine would drain itself and she could open the door after 2 hours,I dont know how he figured that one out seeing that she had just told him that it blew the fuse as soon as she turned it on.I’ll bet that merloni turn out times get longer and complaints rise – what a way to run a company.
