Samsung on the blink???

Apologies if posting in the wrong area but I have searched the forums for an answer to my query and cannot find any info.

I have a Samsung SR-S2025CVW American style fridge freezer and noticed this morning that I may have a problem with it.

The digital display only shows the left hand side which is the freezer temp info and is set to -20 but the right hand side of the display(fridge temp) is blank.
I dont know if its an issue with the digital display on the right hand side going off or that the actual fridge is on its way out.

The lights in the fridge still work and it doesnt feel as if its lost any temp at the moment as the milk etc still feels chilled,but I cant hear any fans working.

However,the freezer still shows its set temp and the food is still frozen and i can hear the motor/fan when i open the freezer door.I dont suppose I will find out till later if the fridge loses temp but was just hoping its an issue with the display and not an impending breakdown.

I unplugged the appliance and when it started up again,what looked like 2 little dashes like a L shape appeared on the right hand side display.

Any help and advice much appreciated
