ParticipantHi
I have just received this fault code from the washing machine this morning. It is about 6 years old and until today very reliable (and has survived 2 house moves, most recent Sept 06)
The fault code appeared and when checked I could not open the door to get the clothes out. I set the dial to drain and then spin after which the doors opened and I removed the clothes. Clothes where warmer than usual at the end of a cycle so I suspect a proper rinse was not done. 30 degree wash cycle.
Instruction book just states “electrical components fault”.Anyone got any ideas what F11 fault code means and whether it is fixable or not?
Thanks in advance
Bertie

Hi Bertie,
From what I can see it is exactly what it says, an electronics or electronic communication failure which, pretty much, means it can be anything from a loose wire to a PCB failure and anything in between. 😕
As explaine in this article fault codes normally do not give specific failure information.

have known this error code to come up if the motor carbs are low (normally f10) but sometimes f11, else check module connections and check for earth leaks, element etc

Thanks – I shall have a look around and see if there is anything obvious.

Don’t really understand why but after a test wash with a small load today at 40 degrees, the machine worked perfectly well. ❓
Oh well, hopefully that is fixed now. Thanks for the input – no doubt I shall return if I need to.

Participantbecause your brushes are breaking down under load….. best to change them before it does some serious damage
