My dishwasher won’t do any programs. It started after the water company had a “blackout” and the pressure dropped on the water.

Now it has the following code, which I can’t find anywhere on the net or in the manual. I’m not exactly sure what it says, so I made a picture 😀

It just gives this code, no matter which button I press.

    I checked this manual: http://www.serviceforce.co.uk/pdfs/U04007.pdf . It’s for a 64800 while I have a 64810, but it was the closest I could find.

Can anybody shed some light on this?

Try pressing and holding the button next to the display for a count of 5, let go and then switch off. Leave it for a minute or two and then try again. May clear it – if it doesn’t, you have some sort of corruption issue with the PCB.

I have found the issue. It appears to be a “child blocking mode”. The characters represent “BLO”, which stands for “Block”. I resolved the issue by pressing simultaneously the Pre-wash and Quick buttons for about 3 seconds.

I had to find this somewhere on the dutch AEG website, as it doesn’t appear to be in the manual…

    Anyway,

    Thanks for your reaction!
