Friends machine as normal giving me jip, every other wash it gets so far through the cycle and the check inlet light flashes like a gooden,1,No kinked hose 2,No blocked dispenser 3, Ive also checked the air chamber and thats fine too.
Before you say valve the weird thing is that if i put it on a rinse program and press start the valve will start to fill then the check light comes on but the machine still fill up perfect WHY????
Spoke to Miele and they want £99 to come out.
Im asking you to pull out all stops on this one lads as this is a close friend and my reputation depends on it!!!!!!!!!!

Are you sure the valve coil is not going o/c or high resist when it heats up a little ?

Hi, Thanks for the replies but if the coil was going high resistance when heating up would it still work fine? also i checked the air chamber and thers no leaks in the hose either so im back to square one im affraid.

As this has a 3 way valve, I would expect that one of the inlet chambers is not working at all or not opening sufficiently to allow enough water to come in to fill it in the required time.
I find this to be a fairly regular fault on Miele washers with this inlet valve.
