Hi there, i’m looking for some advice. Last week the freezer part of my 3year old Brandt CFA310AU frost free fridge freezer stopped working. The fridge is working ok. I’ve has a look round the back and it is dust, water, and oil free, everthing looks clean. All lights work and it seems to be making the right noises, although maybe not as much as before. There is a bit of ice at the bottom of the freezer and down at the back over some vertical vents-could this be the problem? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
unplug it
defrost it fully, for 48hrs, with both doors open
plug it back in
thats it!!!
its clogged up with ice and the fan no longer runs, thats all
you could fit a pcb if you like, but youll find the defrost will cure it
