Hi
Sods law, dishwasher 13 months old and sprayer arms have stopped spinning. Dishwasher drains and fills, although the heater elment appears to be getting excessively hot (red) . Is there anything i should check. It was a pig to install (limited space) so loathed to remove, replace. Any assistance appreciated.Re: Indesit Di 450 sprayer arms not spinning
After it fills can you hear any noise at all such as a faint humming/buzzing sound?
If you can then either the capacitor or the circulation motor may have failed.
If it is silent then it is time to get the meggar out to check the motor and wiring etc.
Whatever the problem it will have to come right out I’m afraid, access is from underneath and side.
Be sure to isolate from the mains before taking any panels off.
