Beko dishwasher not heating

    Model no DE3542FS not heating water.Have metered in line heater OK. Checked voltage input to heater found to be between 40 and 50 volts.

    Heater relay on pcb would be worth a sniff methinks. 😉

    IN THE PAST IVE HAD THIS PROBLEM AND YES THE PCB HAS SOMETIMES BEEN AT FAULT.I HAVE ALSO HAD A SNAPPED WIRE TO HEATER IN THE BOTTOM END OF THE DOOR AND ALSO FAULTY THERMISTOR ,ATTACHED TO SIDE OF SUMP.—STEVE

    There is a service/diagnostics mode for this machine.
    Its hard to understand because its a bad translation from Turkish.
    My interpretation of it is:–

    Switch off machine, select program 2, hold in start button & keep it held for 3 secs.
    All indicators should come on for 2 secs’.
    Release & press start button again.
    Machine will run short diagnostic program, drain, fill, circulation, regen, detergent,heating to 65C, circulation again, pump out.
    Press start button

    faults will be shown by indicators:-
    No indicators = no fault
    Wash led = water inlet fault
    End led = NTC fault
    Both leds = Heater fault

    if all indicators blink it also means no fault

    Did one today,
    The same 12v coil, 5 pin relay used on electrolux and some merloni.
    The pcb is very cheap if you don’t have the relay -about £20- nice to see Beko pricing things so we can get the repairs.
