    hi all

    have been out to a hotpoint bwd129 intergrated washer/dryer today the fault was door will not open. so i got the door open with my magic screwdriver, checked the door handle and all plastic parts on the door,there all ok so fitted a new door interlock. the door still stays locked
    even after the time for the safety to activate. the power to the interlock stay there and you dont here the yousual klik after a min or two.
    the door will unlock if you turn it of at the socket.
    Also the door lock piolet stays lit.

    have not seen this fault before any help would be apreciated.

    It either thinks it’s still full of water (in which case it wouldn’t complete the programme) or it’s being powered by the board, suggesting a triac failure.
