    Hi All,

    I have got a Hotpoint Aquarius 1100 WM63 washing machine which hasn’t been used for about 4 months, has spent 2 months outside under my carport. It was working ok before it was temporally decommissioned, connected it up today, completely dead!
    Checked fuse in plug etc, defiantly power going into the machine just ain’t firing up, anybody got any suggestions?

    Door lock is the standard culprit, although the on/off switches play up as well.

    Power off if going in……

    Did you remember having to slam the door to get it to work before it died?

    No, didn’t have to slam the door when it was working, never had any problems at all before. Either somethings has happened when it was disconnected & transported or when it has been sitting outside. 😥

    Its been outside!, just to clarify, you havnt really left your machine outside have you?, these machines hate dampness.
