    never done bearings on one of these.
    can anyone tell me whats involved and will i need the genuine bearings and are there any seals that will have to be replaced.

    Hi

    there is a special tool that is required to releace and refit the nylon bush as it is under high pressure if I remember correctly fromthe training many moons ago.

    It wont be a nice job.

    These machines are big and easy to dismantle, there is however a few tools which are required to succesfully work on these machines.
    Along with this these are American so all bolts / nuts are AF.
    Please do not remove the break housing beyond the pulley as this houses a large spring under great tension.
    The transmission is guaranteed for 10 years but this would have to go through an authorised Maytag Service Partner to be done under warranty.
