whirlpool top loader

    Sorry no mod, called to this machine last november fault was intermittent no spin, could not find any fault, now Cus back on with same fault,2 days ago no spin yesterday it did spin. Any help would be appreciated.

    The last one i had with this, caused me some problems finding the fault. in the end it was a worn shaft clamp, “cant remember the real name for it” , but its the bit between the drum and shaft. on the one i had the top lip of that part had worn away allowing the drum to drop which would result in it scraping the tub and stopping it from spinning. probibly not this rare fault but could save you alot of time if you havent seen it before.
