    hi , looking for help ,

    my zanussi fle1416w has started stopping during the wash cycle , fills with water ok and then stops ,

    if you use the pause and skip buttons to move onto next function the machine will empty of water ok , .

    barring that it just stops once full of water

    any ideas .

    It could be the motor brushes. To get at these you really need to remove the back half of the cabinet then remove the motor.

    Power off first, please.

    replaced the brushes , working ok , able to get at them fromunder the machine , bit fiddly though ,

    you need a 5mm skinny socket , got a set from the pound shop

    £19 for the brushes ,
