F&P MW511 beeps without an error code

I am trying to fix a fault with our washing machine. It sometimes runs perfectly and sometimes stops mid cycle and beeps 3 times in an increasing pitch.

It seems to stop either on the normal cycle after it has filled with water (all lights apart from left lit) and beeps with the hot and cold water lights lit, if you then press the start button then it will ‘try again’ and continue on from where it got to.

it also seems to stop on the second to last cycle (rinse) and does the same thing but the drum has no water in it.

Im quite confused because it can obviously fill with water and can drain the water and it can agitate as well, so im not sure what is broken.

I have gone into the diagnostic mode and when the slow and hold lights are lit there are no error codes present, but there are lights lit (error codes?) when other combinations of ‘spin speed’ are lit up.
