My Bosch Exxcel 1400 WF02865 sometinmes uses the conditioner, but 2/3 of the time it gets diluted a bit then left in the dispenser drawer. The syphon outflow does not seem to be blocked. Any ideas what else to check?

    Hi
I would say 99.9{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} it will be a blockage in the water jet holes in the lid of the detergent unit. A toothbrush can be effective for de-clogging sometimes but usually a replacement of the roof of the detergent compartment is the 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} cure 😀
Poor water pressure to the appliance is another factor also.
An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will sort you the spare if required.

Thanks, I’ve tried cleaning the holes in-situ several times, with no obvious improvement. With your encouragement I’ll try removing it for a more thorough clean off the machine.

BRILLIANT!! I dismantled & removed the top plate for a thorough clean out – much more than can be done in-situ – and now it works perfectly again.

It needed much more than a surface clean, a toothbrush or even poking with a long thin cable tie (other suggestions!) though.

What is the black gelatinous glut, anyway? Part dried out powder & conditioner? Would it be avoided or reduced by using diluted rather than concentrated conditioner?
