Hello to all,
F&P MW501-U ERROR CODE 00100000 32?
Got home from work. Wife tells me w/m not working.
when on fill (cold) stop/start action of solenoid with water coming through. then eventually stops and then continually beeping. on the wash cycle display 3rd l.e.d from left is on or i gather from other posts i have read 00100000.
when on rinse stop/start action with water coming through. then eventually stops and continually beeping. on wash cycle display it is 00100000
wife also advises that pump was also starting/stopping. during spin cycles then 00100000
i am a sparky (industrial). Limited experience in whitegoods though. so should have no trouble understanding the lingo.
I have not opened the w/m up yet

Display module fault – thinks pump is running. If the board is damp, dry it and re-try, otherwise replace board.

hi penguin,
I know i gave you guys a bum steer last night. after last post missus told me bed sheets were severly twisted when w/m stopped. also further reading of your site revealed what i assumed to be a fault code was not. follwed your instructions re obtaining error code from other threads. Bingo “00101011” check of other threads then showed identical problems.
the OOB is the culprit.
pulled apart this arvo. micro switch contacts stuck open and corrosion. lucky for me i had one in the car. reassemble, test everything back to normal now.
now question is the fault code 43 or 212. am i to add binary from left to right or right to left.thanks heaps for your general dedication in helping those less knowlegdeable than you. 😀 😀
