    My fisher & paykel smartdrive GW608U wont spin, it gets to the end of the rinse and becomes very slow for around 25 minutes then eventually just stars beeping…. The error or diagnostic code is 00101000 Any suggestions or should i just get a new one.

    Code 43 – out of balance switch failure.

    Switch gets wet, sticky; wiring and connections can corrode.

    Top deck (and power) off to access.
