    Hi there,
I read the sticky note about getting the machine into diagnostic mode, however there is a problem.

I have followed the instructions (hold down Temp Down & Power button) however I do not get the 2 “beeps”. All that happens is that the Water Level High & Low Lights come on. Am I supposed to hold Power and Temp Down until I get the 2 beeps?

I’m doing this because my machine which I just bought second hand today keeps stopping and flashing the Hot & Cold Temp lights simultaneously. I have swapped and reswapped the hoses to the different connections but the same thing happens.

I am hoping someone can help because as it stands right now I think I have been had.

No water in the time allowed – probably syphoning; ensure end of drain pipe is above the maximum possible water level in the machine.

Thanks for the info, but I should warn you that I am completely defunct of any technical knowledge or abilities. What and where is the drain pipe and how can I check it?

C’mon – the drain hose out of the back of the machine? It’ll be pushed too far down the pipe. Just pull the hose back up until the end of the hose in the pipe is above the maximum possible water level in the machine (Say, top of the inner drum).
