First time i have come across this problem. Haven’t the model number beside me but it’s the reverse motor type one.

Had a look at it and the motor won’t work. Seems to be not working at empty and wash. Checked the capacitor and i got 240 volts down at the motor plug( only checked in empty mode)

Took out the motor and it has 3 wires. Only 2 wires have continuity. The white wire has no resistance at all with the other 2 wires which to me doesn’t seem right. Anyone else come across this?

    White is common.
    Readings should be white/blue 70 ohms, white/orange 48 ohms.

    The motor’s goosed.

sounds like motor fault, normally they will wash but not reverse (empty) when faulty. Sounds like yours is not washing either, if this is the case sounds like it has seized. Check its getting 240V, if so order another one.

I’ts not seized. I’m not getting any reading between the white and the other 2 wires, however i get a reading of 118 ohms between the orange and blue.

EDIT: Just checked a motor that i know works but has a broken shaft, the 118 is normal between the 2 wires and it reads ok with the white wire so my motor is definately fecked.
