    cant get my washer to work the on off switch flashes along with the time saver button any help would be fantastic as it would stop me wanting to throw it up and down the road!

    think time saver will be led 4, so F01 Motor fault, could be broken wire at motor, but more likely ain module has a fault, £90 through hotpoint to fix is probably the cheapest way

    yes it is LED 4, what would have to be replaced and could i do it myself many thanks for your replys

    if it is the module, you would need to replace the module & eeprom, but the parts alone would cost you more than hotpoints £90 fixed charge

    sorry to bother you again but the machine is 2and a half years old would it just be worth repairing or do you think it would be better to buy new one ?also at the moment what are the best machines on the market

    Your parts are guaranteed for five years, you will only pay a labour charge of just under £90.00.

    Even allowing for the amount of cheap garbage that is being foisted on the general British public you would be hard pressed to buy a new machine for that money. 😉

    So unless you intend to go out and spend £400+ for some decent quality then have yours repaired.
