    Hi

We have a frost free Creda R335NW fridge freezer (about 8 years old), last week the red warning light came on, and the fridge and freezer started to get warmer. On checking everything we realised that the vent at the back of the fridge had been blocked by a carton.

We cleared this and everything started to cool again, but the red warning light has stayed on, the fridge according to our thermometer is fine, but the compressor is running continually and the freezer is down to minus 30

Is it worth getting an engineer to look at it or being frost free should we just look for new

    Hi

Turn the appliance off and leave both doors open for 24 hours then restart it as normal,If the thermostat isnt getting the cold air sensed then it will continue to run.

    Hi

Unplugged the fridge/freezer and left for 24 hours with the doors open, plugged back in but 12 hours later the light is still on and the freezer is back down to -35, the fridge is fine, any further help would be appreciated

    Tom
