    Hi,

I placed my clothes in the WT540 and put a wash on. I returned to the machine later on to find that the following LEDs flashing: on/off, wash enhance and reduce creases. The door was also locked so I couldn’t get my clothes out. 🙁

I have tried all the programs but none are operational. I have also emptied some water and gunk from the filter but this hasn’t done the trick. Any ideas, please?? Thanks.

1-4, l-r (or top to bottom), which lamps are flashing?

    Thanks for responding, Penguin45.

1 & 2 (top to bottom) on left and on/off on the right.

Lights 1 & 2 is F12, no communication between top & bottom boards, check all connections (with the plug out please) if still F12 then, sorry, but the module has a fault, £89 if you use Hotpoint with their free parts

Thanks hotpnt, will check the connections. 🙂 It’s just unfortunate that I bought the WT540 some 54 weeks ago. It’s a bit like ‘mission impossible’ – this machine will self-destruct outside of the warranty period. :rolls:

If you make enough noise you will probably get the call out charge reduced if you are only 2 weeks out of warranty.

A few manufacturers do offer a concession for “just out of warranty” failures when pressed. The Indesit Company is not one of them.
