    Hi All,
    My sister has a Whirlpool AWM 5104/4 washing machine which is shrinking clothes on the wool 40 degrees program. The machine is three years old and has been working fine before this problem. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

    Shrinkage of woollens on the woollies prog more ore or less has to a heat issue. Temperature sensor, associated wiring or control unit are the most likely suspects.

    Power off, before going inside.
