Had a call to one of these today, rare around here. It appears the drum bearing is gone as the drum has play and making a racket when spinning.

Anyone on here done a bearing job on one? Is it just a bearing kit? Is it a pig of a job or handy enough?

If its the tub bearing that needs replacing ( the rubber mount one on the underside of the outer tub) the tub will have to be removed.

The inner drum will have to come out first.

Remove the adgitater to expose the mount stem and nut.

To remove the mount stem and tub nut (l/h thread) you will find almost impossible if you dont have the special spanner.

Once both tub and drum are out it should be fairly obvious

Dont forget to fit a mount stem kit as well
