ParticipantHi,
I’ve got my hinges from UK Whitegoods who provided a fantastically quick service from identifying parts to shipping. Problem I’ve got now is how to remove the hinges from my NEFF 1661 (main oven), I can get the door out, however it looks like the glass needs removing, but it covers the whole inside of the door with no obvious method of removing. Anyone replaced hinges on this model? thanks DavidApril 3, 2008 at 7:11 pm #247789Penguin45

Two screws through the door for the handle and a couple along the bottom edge should let the halves separate, from memory.

Thanks for that, I found the 2 screws at the bottom and accept that the handle needs to come off, the screws I can see that hold the handle on are behind the glass which covers the entire inside of the door.

It may have the triple glazed door, without the full E-Nr can’t say for sure.
If it has then the inner glass panel will pull away if you grab it at the bottom edge and lift.
Check the instruction book it will have a section on removing and cleaning the door.

Excellent, grabbed the bottom of the glass and pulled, it comes off. Did try the small oven first as I thought it would be cheaper to replace when it broke into a thousand pieces. Thanks for all your help. David
