Participant6.WATER HEATER ERROR
– Display shows ‘ E5,E6’ .
– In case the water temperature rises by 7°C or more in 1 min. or by 2°C less in 10 min after heating is started.
– It can be cleared by turning POWER S/W OFFid be checking the pump 1st though personally

ParticipantRe: Samsung P1253 Error Codes
It definitely only says SE or 5E.

Participantl When an error occurs, this function starts to keep generating error melody sounds and displays error indicators as
shown in the followings per corresponding error by blinking in 0.5sec interval until the error status is completely cleared out.
In this case, all the driving devices are turned off until the error is cleared out.
1. WATER SUPPLY ERROR
– Display shows ‘ E1’ .
– Water Supply Error occurs when water level frequency does not show changes more than 100Hz or water is not supplied
up to the water level presetting for 20 min or more at the time of initial water supply.
– The error status can be cleared by turning POWER S/W OFF and resuming the POWER ON initial status.
2. WATER DRAIN ERROR
– Display shows ‘ E2’ .
– In case the water level frequency is 25.5KHz or less in the initial phase of UNB-detecting cycle.
– Water Drain error can be cleared by turning POWER S/W OFF and resuming the POWER ON initial status.
3. OVER-FLOW ERROR
– Display shows ‘ E3’ .
– Over-Flow error occurs when the water level is in abnormal operation. It can be cleared by turning POWER S/W OFF.
Water is drained prior to POWER S/W OFF and it is forced to be drained for 2 min if a frequency of more than 25.24
KHz is detected.
4. DOOR OPEN ERROR
– Display shows Ed
– Door Open error can be cleared by closing the door.
5. UNBALANCE ERROR
– Display shows ‘ E4’ .
– Laundry load is unbalanced; loosen any tangled laundry.
– If only one item of clothing needs washing, such as a bathrobe or jeans, the final spin result might be unsatisfactory and an
“ E4” error message will be shown in the display window.
– Unbalance error is cleared by POWER S/W OFF and by resuming the POWER ON initial status.
6.WATER HEATER ERROR
– Display shows ‘ E5,E6’ .
– In case the water temperature rises by 7°C or more in 1 min. or by 2°C less in 10 min after heating is started.
– It can be cleared by turning POWER S/W OFF.
7. ASS’ Y PRESSURE S/W ERROR
* Generated Frequency Signal of WATER LEVEL(W/L) S/W (KHz)
– If the same signal as the above table is detected for more than 5 seconds, it is a PRESSURE S/W Error.
– When the error occurs, water drain pump will operate for 3 min. and then turn off the water drain pump.
Then the display shows ‘ E7’ indicating a pressure s/w error indicator.
8. ABNORMAL WATER TEMPERATURE ERROR
– In case the water temperature is 50°C or more in Delicate and Wool course.
– At the time of initial water supply, if the water temperature is not appropriate, water starts to be drained
and it is forced to be drained for 2 min when the abnormal frequency of 25.24 KHz is detected.
– Display shows ‘ E8’ .
– This error can be cleared by POWER S/W OFF.
9. WATER LEAKAGE ERROR (E9)
– Water Leakage error occures when water is drained naturally after washing program starts.
Course Water Temp
Delicate 50°C or more
Wool 50°C or more
Level Low Level High Level
Abnormal W/L Frequency 30.00 KHz 15.00 KHz

Participanti can only copy straight from the samsung manual for that model
5e e5 same thing

ParticipantRe: Samsung P1253 Error Codes
Cheers, it did resolve it by turning it off and on, but surely this isn’t long term…

Participantok, theres different models
yours must be a p1253gw/xeu ?
try these
1. An occurrence of an Error will make a sound of error melody for 5sec and continuously show one of the Error
Displays from the following errors. (But, Fault Check Led will flash for 0.5sec.)
2. All of the steering parts will be off at that time until that error was released.
3. Water Supply Error
– If there is no higher change in water frequency than 100Hz for 2 minutes during the initial time of water supply
and if water level doesn’t reach the preset level in 10 minutes, this error will occur.
This error will be released using Start/Pause button, which performs the initial condition of operation.
– Display : “4E”
4. Water Drain Error
– If water level frequency is still lower than the reset level frequency (25.20kHz) in 10 minutes after starting of
water drain, this error will occur.
This error will be released using Start/Pause button, which performs the initial condition of operation.
– Display : “5E”
5. Over Flow Error
– If an abnormal water level frequency is sensed (for occurrence of Over Flow :21.00kHz), Auto Power Off may
release this error and continuously progress water drain until the frequency reached 25.00kHz.
– If Over Flow is also sensed even after the following check of water level frequency indicating that error, it
functions to progress water drain.
– Display : “OE”
6. Door Open Error
– This error will be released by closing Door.
– Display : “dE”
7. Unbalance Error
– This error will be released by pressing start/pause S/W.
– DISPLAY : “ UE”
8. Water Heater Error
– This error will be released by turning off Power S/W.
– Display : “HE1″(Over Heat),
– Display : “HE2”, indicating no operation of HE.
9. Pressure S/W (Single Part Trouble) Error
※ Frequency signals(kHz) generated by water level S/W
– If the above frequency signals are displayed longer than 5sec, it indicates Pressure S/W Error.
– Drain water for 3 minutes for that Error, and turn OFF water drain pump. Pressure S/W Error
display “ IE” will be shown. .
10. Abnormal Water Temperature ERROR
– Water drain begins if abnormal water temperature is sensed at the initial time of water supply. If the frequency
higher than 25.20KHz is sensed, water will be drained by force.
– Display : “CE”
– This error will be released by turning off Power S/W.
Water Level Low High
Abnormal Frequency 30.00 KHz 15.00 KHzApril 7, 2008 at 5:56 pm #248271helo_75
Participantlike i said, pumps blocked, or duff, one or the other
usually something in the filter
sorry, but the last bit of the model number makes all the difference

Where is the pump and how do you clean it, because I have a feeling that could be it…

Cheers I remembered before you replied, but if anyone needs help with this machine, have a look HERE
5E = Clean the debris filter. Make sure the drainage hose is installed correctly.
