    Hi Folks

Is it me or are these springs faulty manufacture these days (1601660 & 1601661)..

The front spring has the hook too long and is a real struggle to get on the facia end but at least it wont come off when eventually get it on.. and the rear hook is about 40deg out and dosn’t hook in the frame properly so the slightest bit of off balance will “pop” it out..

Ordered from different suppliers and they all coming the same..

Didn’t used to have this prob before.. 👿

Anyone else having a problem with these?

They have been like that for a while.

I usually hook the rear one in to the balance weight bracket the opposite way to normal then twist the other end round to slot into the hole at the back, not easy with greasy fingers but they will never come off.

TBH the front ‘hook’ on the larger spring is not usually too long but the hook is too small to slot in easily most of the time.

Thanks for the replies folks.. no point in returning them by the sounds of it – just thought it might have been a faulty batch – just crap manifacturing quality by the sounds of it..
