i can’t find the fuse! nothing works, and have found the light bulbs and removed them – both are blown. think i should replace the fuse, but just can’t find it anywhere! is there such a thing as a diagram or plan of the Hygena APP2410 cooker hood. the fuse is not external, ie on the wall near the cooker, so i’m guessing it must be in the hood itself. can anyone help? thanks

    Hi Lynne,

There isn’t an internal fuse (as such) and that’s why you can’t find one.

The kinda fuse is actually this part, the main switch and PCB unit which goes, it’s pretty common to fail.

What we have seen a lot is people leaving the cooker hood lights on for ages and it seems to blow the board for some reason as well as the bulbs.

There is no fuse as above post says but there is normally a fuse at the main connection ie on a plug in side hood cover or if wired to spur/switch to left or right of hob above the work units, somtimes builders put its above top units on some kind of connection.
If no fused plug or spur socket with fuse and it went bang and both bulbs went and now is dead as above post states it would of blown the tracking on the pcb and will require new pcb . always best to have those extractors fused on plug spur ect it will save a ton of hazzle.
