HI folks
I get really fed up with the rubish machines that are out there these days and so do a lot of customers to.. Like most of you I get asked what are the better makes of machine out there of which I find it incresingly difficult to give an answer..
I would love to and have recomended customers to our web site to view the ISE machines but there are a couple of things which would be nice to know..
I am only a small one man band and work from home so have never felt the urge to go into selling machines for several reasons the main being storage and taking delivery of such machines.. But I have no objections to anyone else out there doing so..
If I do get customers to have an ISE machine – can I get a repair of it if it does go wrong or am I shooting myself in the foot by recomending them?
Do I need an agency to be able to carry out a repair?
Can I be an agent without having to sell or deliver machines?
Any advice on these machines would be helpful

Hi Mick
One of our top agents does just that in so much that he works very closely with a local retailer.
The retailer gets the sale and he gets the install and any repair work on those appliances sold by that retailer.
It seems to work well for him. I’m sure if he see’s this post he’ll send you a P.M. so watch your mailbox for post

Not at all, all machines will break sooner or later by getting the repairs back you are only protecting your own business for the future. Nothing wrong with that.
TBH most of the guys seem to find that the customers want you back specifically, even inside warranty.

No, we assign each agent a number and any machines sold by you, or a retailer you have a tie up with. This means that any calls that come in get routed back to you.

Yes.
So long as we know what’s going on then there’s not a problem.
The best thing to do is drop John a line on jhopwood@iseappliances.co.uk and he can talk you through it in much more depth as well as organise getting you set up with an agent number.
It really is as simple as simple can be to do but if you need any more info just ask.

I asked for brochures of the ISE machines when the were first introduced. I’m still waiting 😕

Hi Phidom,
Sorry I was at a funeral all day and could not reply properly.
I know why you haven’t gotten any brochures as yet. 😉
The short answer is that, until this print run that I JUST received the first batch of on Thursday there hasn’t been any actually printed. The reason is pretty straightforward, we didn’t have the range finalised and therefore there was little point in printing up a load of brochures for things that would be out of date in a month or two.
That now said, there are now hard print copies available if you want a few I’m more than happy to have some sent to you. Just drop the details over to admin@iseappliances.co.uk and David or I will pick it up and organise that no problem.
It must be said though that these are not designed as “leave behinds” for all and sundry as they’re not exactly cheap to print. 😉
In-store materials will also be available this month to coincide with the new 5 for those with a shop. These are available in limited quantities though.
Leave behind flyers John and I will be working on this week now that the range is a lot more settled.

Thanks for the reply. I want something I can show to Robert Cruickshank, who runs an appliance shop in Buckie. I did ask him if he would be interested in selling the machines and he did not rule out the idea though he had never heard of the brand. He does not offer whitegoods repairs but has a pile of my business cards to hand out when he gets enquiries. I had not realised there was a dishwasher amongst the range. I stopped repairing dishwashers when the nightmare machines with the full plastic base moulding were introduced.

I can no longer access the ISE forum to ask this question for some reason?:(
I’m just curious to know about the safety factor of the ISE 10 should the outer door panel be removed? One member of the public was interested in buying one and wondered if the outer door could be removed?
Now I know the old Nyborg machines and E/lux machines didn’t have outer doors fitted and indeed some current Asko machines also come with that option too. Therefore, my safety question is this :-
Being as many young mums allow their kitchen as a playground for infants to wander around unsupervised, is it not just possible that a small child could trap their fingers between the moving tub and the front panel whilst it’s spinning? 😕

Possibly because you’ve never sold a machine and are considered inactive. That forum was clearly stated as being for active sellers/agents only and you are fully aware of that fact.

Yes it can be but the front panel has to be replaced as there are no covers available for the hinge holes.

No, there are guards to prevent that and since it passes the Swedish safety standards which are far more stringent than ours I am informed, I’m pretty sure it will be okay.
