Its just developed a fault where the microwave starts for 3-4 seconds then stops with code E8. I changed the magnetron but still same. Thinking about it I guess it could be the power supply (K volts).
Managed to squeeze, not literally, the description for E8 from the Bosch call centre lady and she said it was either the inverter or incorrect start up sequence.
Looks like my guess about voltage may be right but anyone got any other ideas?

In this instance, un plugging this type of appliance doesn’t make it safe. High voltages remain for days/weeks. Use the repairs@ link on the left menu to find an engineer ❗
as gegsy said these can kill even when off; they store a massive amount of electricity to fire magnetron, and when repaired it should be tested for microwave leaks and any changes in power output and the results noted there are many engineers on here who dont touch them because you dont get any second chances with these.
