    hi all

    first post here !

i hope someone can help me with this one.

i have a diplomat apl 3201 lx ( or 1x not sure which exactly )

the oven fan comes on but wont generate heat , the grill is fine.

last night the oven was on then i noticed the element behind the fan was glowing ( could see through the window above the fan ) now tonight it wont heat up at all.

could this be the element ? if it is should i strip it and measure the element before buying a new one??

any help will be greatly appreciated

    regards mark

    Hi Mark,

It will almost certainly be the element that’s goosed and it’s this one that’s fitted.

So long as the fan is okay that should be all you need.

    hi all

i took the cover off this morn and found the element had blown badly !

had a measure and the width is as the one in the link ( 180 ) but the length is 200 and the one shown in the link is 220mm

will this still fit ok ??

Yes it will Mark, sometimes a bit of adjustment is needed with fitting a fan element but we fit those pretty regularly with no problems.
