I have a Hygena Dishwasher AYH8101/2 and it has developed a problem where the lower spray arm detaches from the spray feed pipe connection when in use. Is this a common problem? Any advise appreciated.

    Cheers KF.

    Hi KF,

This part is the likely culprit.

Hi K, Thanks for the quick response.

Looking at the diagram it would appear that the item No 320 is the problem as I don’t appear to have one of these. I’ve no idea what might have happened to it but does it come with Item 315 or is it a separately available part and if so can you send me the purchase info/link for this as well?

    Many thanks again,

    KF.

    Hi KF,

    It’s a “milled bush”, don’t ask me, it’s French. 😕

Basically a spacer/washer and it is included in the hub kit from that link. 😉

Guys, Thanks for all your help and advice.

I took a close look at the spray arm yesterday and found a small item partly blocking one of the spray holes. I removed this and tried the machine again and the arm stayed in place.

I’ll try again tonight and see if it works again, I’ll post the results again here.

    Cheers again,

    KF

Tried again and it worked just fine. Looks like a small partial blockage can cause this problem.

    Cheers,

    KF..
