‘F7’ code on dishwasher = flow meter failure.
Does this part have to be replaced and what does the flow meter do?.
Has anyone else had experience of this fault code and is it remedied by replacing the flow meter?

Flow meter is part of fill chamber on LH side – 4812 418 68147. Replacement not always required – a clean of the contacts and a squeeze will often get it working again.

The flow meter has a magnet in it which passes by a reed switch. As it spins, the computer counts the rate and number of pulses generated.

sorry for delay in replying as customer been on hols.
Thanks for info. Did as you suggested and it works perfectly now.
Couldn’t find any gunge in flow meter. It may just have been that taking it out and cleaning did the job.
    Thanks once again penguin.
