ParticipantMy customer has a s20b r5b21-a/g american fridge freezer internal fan runs and display shows -19 for freezer and 2 on fridge display.
Compressor running after switch on and 2min delay freezer at ambient and fridge as a little cooling.
could it be a pcb problem ??serial number 858615115001 110407021043
no codes showing on display. Is there a test sequence for the front display or any other service info on this model? any help would be helpful.

Hi
First of all, is the freezer evap choked up? If so usual frost free things to check.
Problematic rear module can also cause it to choke up.HTH

Thanks for your reply, the evap is not frozen up, system started to freeze down after switching back on last night . customer phoned to day to say its gone off again. Did note as i left a clicking nosie for rear pcb when ice machine was turned on and both doors are closed.

Thanks for the reply , so its a 2004 system does it only need the rear pcb ??
Do you know how much a new rear pcb is ? and if there is any test to make sure before i replace it. Just that hes a good customer of mine for commercial refrigeration and need to get this right for him . thanks jay.

ParticipantIf it 2004 would also recommend replacing front board as they both need to be the same colour label.
I think they need to be pink labels

2004 has the new electronics. Change over was week 30 2003.
You should only need the rear board. Rear board is available in Shop@.

ser. no. 11 0345 015044.
11 is the factory.
03 is the year
45 is the week.Your machine is newer than the change of 03 30 so you should only need 1 board.
Sorry, I’m not on the system with SIOS on it, rear pcb should be item 5210 or thereabouts on the parts list. Shows on the diagram as above the freezer cabinet.HTH

Just a thought. Have you checked the condenser is clear of dirt and fluff and the condenser fan is running properly. If the fan isnt running the compresser can over heat and the toc will cut the compresser, it will kick back on again when the compresser cools. Ive had this problem a few times.
