We have a Bosch WVT126S Washer Dryer that is 3 yrs old and the dryer is heating clothes but not drying them (they come out hot and wet). Also the washing cycle is occasionally taking a lot longer than normal (for an equivalent load).
When the machine was 2yrs old (and under warranty) the drain pump was replaced due to the waste pipe being badly fitting and putting strain on the pump (so I was told). I’m wondering whether the same could be happening, we’ve had a new kitchen fitted and when I checked where the waste pipe went. It went down to the floor (under a unit) and then back up and attached under the sink which doesn’t conform to the manual, so I’ve rerouted this now.
The symptoms still persist so I wonder whether the pump has been damaged by the extra load on it to …. There was also a bad smell before (presumably stagnant water in the waste pipe) that has gone since I rerouted the waste pipe.
Does this all sound plausible ? Is the best way to replace this pump from underneath ?
Any comments appreciated.
