Is this a complicated task or is it very straight foward.
We’re looking at buying a big us style fridge freezer.
The websites all say they will only plumb them in if they are within 1.5 metres of utilities. That counts us out as our water pipes are on the other side of the kitchen. Can i just run a plastic tube (like the ones at the back of the washing machine) rould underneath the cupboards to the back of the fridge and then connect it up myself?

    no need

theres a rather long piece of pipe supplied with the appliance, with all the fittings youll need

all you need its a 15mm tap to comnnect to

    hope this helps

hello icw, yes it’s relatively easy. just don’t use washing machine filler pipes as they’re not suitable for drinking water.
if you pick up the supply under the sink and run the pipework under the units using push fit fittings, it’s an easy job.
    cheers.
