We have the above dishwasher and the other day, out of nowhere, the door latch wouldn’t engage, in addition the microswitch in the door latch worked intermittently – appearing to get stuck – although you could release the microswitch with a gentle prod! Because we could operate the microswitch we tried the dishwasher and although the latch wasn’t locked it worked and didn’t leak (just a couple of drops on the outside door) all seemed fine. It now starts its cycle but stops after a few minutes with the 3rd LED flashing, is this connected to the latch/microswitch fault? what is our best way forward? And approximate cost? Dishwasher is 2.5 yrs old.

Third light flashing is a thermistor fault ( got my error codes now 😉 )

Not connected to door switch fault, the thermistor is part of the control PCB.

There are two different ones, would need full serial number to identify correct part.

Both are under £30.00 ex vat, door latch is also quite cheap so a local independent engineer would, like as not be less expensive than the Indesit Company.

Be sure to remove to remove the mains plug if you intend to have a look yourself.

    Jim.
