this dishwasher is leaking from the overflow outlet on the meterng tank.
i seem to remember changing one of these tanks before a long time ago and it did not cure the fault. because you have to cut the old one out, it cannot be reversed so i don’t want to try until i have tried everything else. it is also built in nice and tight so i want to go back well prepared. pressure switch checks out ok.
can’t remember how i cured the other one years ago.
    any help would be appreciated.

Up to press I have done two of these aeg dishwashers which spill out of the clear breather tube on the regen unit. I was stumped and reluctant to order up a new plastic regen chamber, but when I did it solved the problem on both occasions. I tried everything, pressure switch, sump hose to regen pipe was clear. I was a nice easy job to do if I remember, but you will need to wear your goggles and swimming trunks 😉
    Regards,
    Robert.

Last one I had turned out to be an intermittant drain pump failure. Took four visits to resolve the problem 😳

On those old AEG’s its always the pressure chamber gunged up, impossible to clean and, as stated, needs to be hacksaw’d off! Used to do loads of them, not done one for years now. Not a job I miss.
