Our dishwasher is stopping intermitently, mainly at water fill stage. When I tip the machine backwards at just 5 degrees it takes in water in Ok and goes through the cycles completely. So I do not think there is a problem at the water supply (aquastop) end. There is no evidence of any flooding in the base of the machine.

I have tried diconnecting and reconnecting the aquastop and I have also drained the overflow pipe at the front bottom of the machine as suggested on another forum topic for this machine.

It is as if something at the machine end is restricting water flow most of the time.

    All suggestions appreciated.

Remove the left hand side panel to observe. The dishwasher is filled from a tank on the back of the machine, which is pre-filled by the inlet valve. When required, a separate valve in the bottom of the matrix is opened and the water drains into the machine through the softener area. This solidifies with age and restricts the flow. Gentle and persistant tapping with a plastic screwdriver handle will usually break up the sludge and the water will enter the machine properly.

Power off for anything other than observation.

Thanks for the advice. I have found the machine does seem to be a little flooded, not sure now if a result of my tipping and turning. I have tried to tip out excess but Machine will not take in any water at all now.
