Customer complained of no heat on dryer. Changed the thermostat on top of heater duct, as it was open circuit. To change this it is necessary to take the top off the heater box. Machine worked ok on test, Called back today, same problem, stat failed again. No obvious obstructions, fan working, water appears at drain hose when pump operates. Anyone got any ideas on this please?

does it have the fluff filter on the heater box?

if it has, rip it off and disconnect the flushing valve

cant you just reset the stat with a pin? Is it the dryer unit with the tumble dryer style filter? does that need cleaning. Also is there water going to the condensing unit via the filter unit?
