Machine is dead. no lights nothing!!

240 volts out of suppressor. Live down to door lock.

    Insulation OK. Wiring OK.

Am I looking at the user board or control board? Or neither of these?

Customer is adamant they want me to repair it even though its under the 5yrs parts cover. 😥

    Help please.

Good Lord Tim, what with the dishwasher and its blown module, now this?

You’re in for a good hiding on both accounts that’s for sure! 🙁

Have you tried to wrestle with the various module and eeprom options this heap of Indesit proudly bears within?

Sorry I can’t help you on this. But you’re a brave man ….respect if you can suss this one out and it not cost ya! 8)

Had a few like this, sent them back to Hotpoint but asked them to let me know the outcome, a new power board in every case.

Oh dear. 😥 Several eeproms, you will need to check the size of the motor apparently, one has a 40mm stator and one a 50mm stator. different eeproms. :rolls:

also once new board fitted and working, fit a splash guard on it,(sorry cant remember part no) this will stop moisture from dryer vent damaging the board again, ps check wiring, often burnt and damaged …
