    A customer has called to say her Brandt VF300 dishwasher is filling with soap bubbles. It then appears to get stuck in program. She thinks the pump is running at the point it gets stuck. Could the fact that it’s full of bubbles, cause the pump to run all the time?
    Has anyone else had this problem?

    Usually only if the base is full of water or too much detergent has been used causing foaming which has then migrated into the base.

    Washing up liquid left on dish ? stays in for ages.

    It has probably taken out the overtemp stat on the heater (resettable) this will cause the appliance to stick on heat pause with the circ motor running but with the timer motor off..
