    can anyone confirm if this m/c does a thermal spin after 20 mins of drying cycle. this one keeps blowing overheat stat.
    after fitting new thermistor and stat and watching it for 20 mins it decided to spin??
    i remember the early bosch washer dryers (VT585) having this thermal spin- but not sure if hotpoint do. any help appreciated

    Yes, they do have a thermal spin cycle.
