I have had my current LG L207TQ American style fridge freezer for 6 years now, and touch wood I have never had any problems, that was until yesterday.

All of a sudden the electricity tripped.I then sourced it to the fridge. I kept putting the plug back in but it kept tripping the electrics.

I dont no what to do. Should I get a new one or chance getting a repair person in? Any ideas what could be wrong with it?

It was operating perfectly until yesterday morning. There was no unusual noises from it, and it was freezing and chilling perfectly.

    Any help appreciated

if its tripping the electrics then it will more than likely need something replacing, it could be a few things that cause this but will need someone who knows what to look for im affraid, having said that its a pretty rare occurance with a fridge and most times that i have had this problem have been rodents or rabbits chewing on mains cable, but if you decide to check this TAKE THE PLUG OUT 1ST.
