ParticipantHello,
I’ve been out to this Beko customer reports that the machine doesn’t drain or spin on normal wash programs, but if set on a fast wash will drain and spin, but not very well.
I checked brushes approx 3/4 worn and replaced water pump and left her to run a wash through.
I got a call today still same fault but wont drain and spin on any programs now. I called back out and replaced the brushes (Used to sometimes get problems with Indesit machines – worn, but not worn out brushes causing the program to not complete) then I ran the machine from the final rinse cycle it filled turned etc got to the point where it should begin to drain and nothing. I put my probes on the pump and was getting no reading then the program dial advanced to the stop position. If I set the machine to the drain program it will drain but none of the spin programs do anything no pump and no spin.
Any ideas? 😕April 25, 2008 at 8:51 pm #250419Penguin45

PCB on the side of the casing is a good bet – did one this week. EMW do recons at a sensible price.

This sounds like a beko I went to a couple of times with intermitant draining, When I tested it all functions were ok. Got call back still the same, checked sump hose and pressure system and clogged with soap suds. Cleared and all ok, think eco ball must have got stuck in the high position with water in it, machine thinks full of water. Just strange as wouldn’t expect it to be intermintant. Worth checking anyway

Got one of these with exact same symptoms, motor is fine on wash, pump OK, set to any spin programme and timer clicks on one notch then machine goes dead.
Is the module the prime suspect ?

EMW tell me the module is OK, guess that leaves the control timer then, unless you know better, 😉
Anyone know the part number/price of a timer for one of these?

The cogs sometimes break inside if customers turns dial a bit quick / rough. Also check dial is linning up correctly as they can wear.

Thanks for that info, don’t have an account with Connect sadly, just not feasible as a sole trader to have more than two or three. 😥
Masterpart don’t appear to list it. 😥

Went back to this one this morning with a new timer ( thanks DC the cheque is in the post) 😆 ,
Bloody stupid idea to have to cut off the timer motor leads and then re solder them to the new timer motor, but I digress.
The machine is now working perfectly. 😀
