    please help,
First error I had was cycle would start and stop after 20secs or so and 1st light on left was on and after viewing this site found it was a flooded base, after draining I set machine away on a cycle without dishes which went fine. The error I have now, after filling with dishes and setting away on normal load, is that near the end of cycle it stopped and on opening the door the first two lights on left are now continuously flashing. When I opened the door it was hot so I have ruled out heater element probs.

    any suggestions greatly appreciated??????

    Re: bf162 error

1+2 is a drain time out error, it is not emptying. The filters are not very good on these machines and pump blockages or obstructions are very common.
You will need to remove the base then remove the drain pump. The chances are that it will just be obstructed by a small piece of glass, bone, wood, china, sweetcorn etc.

You can find the pump by following the grey plastic hose into the innards of the machine.

Be sure to remove the mains plug and have a towel handy to place under the pump as you remove it to prevent water leaking into places it shouldn’t.

If you need help please try the link at the bottom of this post.

    Jim.
